What is on the thread, and why

TIGER EYE AND CITRINE: Both are gold. Surya rules Simha, and golden stone is what the tradition gives to the Sun's own sign.

Tiger eye

A quartz with fibres of crocidolite running through it. The band of light that slides across the bead as you turn it is why it has been worn for focus since it was first cut.

Citrine

The yellow quartz, given in the tradition to Guru and to abundance. Here it carries Surya's colour. It runs from pale straw to deep amber, and no two strings match.

Gold-tone spacers

The Sun's sign is given the Sun's metal and the Sun's shade. The spacers separate the two stones and finish the piece.
