ABOUT THIS PIECE
A diya for Maa Lakshmi: a gold tealight holder set in five crystals. Light it at dusk in the mandir, at the entrance or on the Diwali table. Friday is her day.

What this is
The Dhan Lakshmi Deep is a diya for the festival of lights: an ornate golden tealight holder set in a ring of five crystals, citrine, green aventurine, tiger eye, hematite and clear quartz. Light a tealight in it and the flame glows through the gold lattice while the stones catch the light around it. It is about 10 cm wide and 2.5 cm high, and weighs approximately 65 to 70 gm.

A light for Maa Lakshmi
Lighting a deep at dusk is how an Indian home welcomes Maa Lakshmi, above all through the five days of Diwali. This one is inspired by her blessings, and it is placed where a diya is placed: the mandir, the entrance or the living room table. It also makes a thoughtful Diwali gift for family and friends.

Setting it up
It takes a standard tealight. Set it on a flat, steady surface, keep it away from curtains and children, and never leave a lit flame unattended. Let the holder cool before you touch it, and wipe the stones with a soft dry cloth.
