ABOUT THIS PIECE
A natural sodalite tumble is a smooth pocket sized piece of blue sodalite. It is kept on the study table in the north or east of the room, the vastu direction for reading and work, or carried in a pocket through the day. Natural stone, never dyed.

What this is
A natural sodalite tumble is a pocket sized piece of deep blue sodalite, tumbled smooth so it has no sharp edge and sits flat in the palm. It is carried in a pocket or a bag, or it is kept on the desk where you read and write. It is one of the smallest pieces in the vastu line and the one most often bought for a student.

The north and east study table
Vastu is exact about where study happens. The table goes in the north or the east of the room, and the person sitting at it faces east or north, never south. The north strip belongs to Budh and to Kubera; the east belongs to Surya and to the first light of the day, which is why the shastra puts books and reading there. A sodalite tumble is kept on that table, in the corner nearest the wall, or carried in the left pocket through the day and set back on the table at night. Vastu asks only that the table itself is not under a beam and that the stone is not kept on the floor.

Where it comes from
Sodalite is a natural blue rock with white veining, and the veining is how you tell a real piece from a dyed one. Ours is tumbled from natural rough, never colour treated. Each lot is identified at Plus Gems Testing Lab and the report sits behind a QR code on the packaging.

QUESTIONS
Questions, answered
Where does a sodalite tumble go?
On the study table, which vastu places in the north or east of the room. You sit facing east or north.
Is the blue colour dyed?
No. It is natural sodalite with its own white veining. Dyed stones show flat, even colour with no veins.
Can I carry it instead of keeping it on the table?
Yes. Carry it in the left pocket or the bag through the day and set it back on the table at night.
