The sets of three are Rs. 1,999 instead of Rs. 2,997 for three singles. The three pieces do not have to go to the same door.

TRUE SCALE

How big it is, next to things you own.

The most common delivery surprise in this category is size. A close-up has no reference, so each piece is shown against things that do. Every listing states its own piece size.

  • Next to a phone

The phone gives you the scale before it arrives.

  • Next to an A4 sheet

The sheet shows the width against something flat.

  • On the door frame

Centred above, or at eye height on a shutter.

  • Three across a lintel

The usual arrangement, and the better price.

MOUNTING

Thirty seconds, one person, no drill

  • Clean the spot

Wipe and dry. The strip will not hold on dust or fresh paint.

  • Peel and press

Hook strip on the back, press for thirty seconds.

  • Renters and vehicles

Use the thread loop instead. No mark, nothing to fill in later.

  • When to put it up

Tuesday or Saturday is the usual practice, and griha pravesh day for a new home.

THE SET OF THREE

Rs. 1,999 instead of Rs. 2,997

Most people take three: the house, the shop and the vehicle. Or three across one lintel, which is the traditional arrangement anyway.

Your Kirtimukh is step one of five.

The tradition never stopped at the door. Add the bracelet on your wrist, the chalisa you read, the jaap counter you count on and the plant that pulls prosperity home. See what changes when all five work together.

QUESTIONS

Before you order a Kirtimukh

Will it survive outdoors?

Under an overhang or a shutter, yes. In direct rain all year the tassels fade, the face does not.

Does it need drilling?

No. Hook strip in the box, thread loop for renters and vehicles.
